At Green Fusion , we’re making energy systems more efficient .

Our platform connects and optimizes heating systems in residential buildings, helping to cut energy use and CO₂ emissions through data and automation.

As part of the Systems Engineering Team you’ll be a developer in the energy sector . You’ll collaborate closely with software, energy and product teams to develop tools which turn real‑world data into meaningful improvements in energy performance .

Your development work will have a direct impact on how energy is used in everyday life — practical, measurable, and sustainable .

Tasks

• Develop automation software that optimizes heating system performance and energy efficiency.
• Exploring and integrating controller interfaces on application levels — connecting diverse systems into our tooling.
• Co‑designing our system architecture , helping shape how our core procedures evolve and scale.
• Running remote optimizations and analyzing real‑world data to continuously improve system behavior.

Requirements

You don’t have to tick every box — we value curiosity, learning, and drive just as much as experience.

If you’re excited about using technology to make heating systems more efficient and more sustainable, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re especially happy if you bring:

• 2–4 years of programming experience in a professional environment, ideally with Python , but we welcome other languages too.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, HTTP, or MQTT.
• Solid understanding of databases and API interactions (e.g., REST).
• A basic grasp of networking technologies .
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows .
• A structured, independent work style and the ability to solve problems creatively.
• Strong communication skills and the openness to collaborate closely with colleagues from different fields.
