As (Senior) Quality Manager (w/m/d), you will support the implementation, monitoring, and further development of the quality assurance system in accordance with GMP and GDP standards.
Location: Cologne, North Rhine‑Westphalia, Germany
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, monitoring and advancement of the quality assurance system according to GMP and GDP standards
- Ensure QM evidence documentation
- Maintain quality‑relevant documents such as SOPs, work instructions and reports
- Qualify suppliers, contract manufacturers and service providers according to Chapter 7 of the EU‑GMP guide “Outsourced activities”
- Initiate and control necessary follow‑up actions (corrections, CAPAs)
- Coordinate and execute product release processes for pharmaceutical products
- Manage changes and deviations in the manufacturing process and during stability studies
- Plan and conduct internal audits
- Handle complaints of pharmaceutical products
- Perform and coordinate stability tests according to ICH Guideline
- Communicate with authorities such as the district government of Cologne, BfArM, AMK, etc.
- Plan and integrate new processes and ensure their compliance with relevant legal frameworks and guidelines
- Prepare dossiers for license applications
Qualifications
- Completed natural scientific/chemical‑technical degree or equivalent training with work experience
- Solid experience in quality control or quality assurance in pharmaceutical or food production e.g. as QMB (Quality Management Officer)
- Ideally experience in GMP environment and relevant regulations
- Analytical thinking, solution orientation and strong numerical affinity
- Excellent organizational skills and a structured, self‑responsible working style
- High sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Fluent in German and English
- Teamwork ability and strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
