Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Barrington James' specialist R&D Division are currently partnered with an innovative start-up medical device organisation based in Berlin who are looking for a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to join their fast-growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant R&D team to develop next-generation cardiovascular devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & development of class 3 cardiovascular implantables.
• Conduct FEA, CFD, and fatigue analysis for long-term performance.
• Work with biocompatible materials to enhance mechanical performance.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams for ISO 13485 & FDA compliance.

Requirements

BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar field.
3+ years of experience in cardiovascular or minimally invasive medical devices.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD package.
Knowledge of ISO 13485
