About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior RDA Technologist for our Beverages division based in Frankfurt. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence within our product development team, utilizing their extensive technical expertise to pioneer new beverage solutions and enhance existing formulations. The successful candidate will lead and construct strong relationships with key beverage customers by developing a wide understanding of each customer, their marketplace and dynamics involved. Providing them with technical knowledge, experience and support when required.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong bonds and relationships with all internal contacts ensuring smooth project management is maintained at all times.
• Manage the technical development activities related to key allocated beverage projects, ensuring that all products developed are appropriate to the specific application and comply with necessary legal and compositional requirements.
• Manage all projects to assist in achieving the business goals and targets of each account.
• Actively engage in the development of pro‑active NPD presentations (physical and supporting documents).
• Execute effective presentation of these concepts to key customers.
• Regularly visit and present products to key customers.
• Assist and support other team members in achieving their set targets and champion collaboration within the business within GTIC and other Kerry sites.
• Effectively utilize all available resources (knowledge, equipment & physical assistance) to help achieve set team goals.
• Guide and assist in the development of colleagues to build their knowledge and experience.
• Manage presentation and tradeshows through SFDC ensuring support documentation, primarily specifications and prices, are coordinated through the system.
• Support the application team with customer meetings as necessary to provide holiday and sickness cover for other team members.
• Assemble, gather, and disseminate data from various sources both internal and external and formulate into reports and analytics which will enable decision making and performance management.
• Add value by proactively identifying potential opportunities or issues and assist in the implementation of both process and performance improvement.
• Upskilling on beverage application & technology for other team members and the organization where required.

Qualifications and skills

• Degree or equivalent in associated Science/Food Technology subjects.
• Previous experience in a product development role within the Beverage industry.
• German fluent, English fluent, Polish fluent.
