You can look forward to

• Operational responsibility to handle Life & Non-Life (P&C) portfolio.
• Treaty maintenance, which includes having understanding of treaty/facultative agreement and re-insurance accounting.
• Ensuring timely, accurate and quality assured processing of client data on SAP systems. Capturing and validating client data to support internal requirement for closing and reserving activities.
• Understanding of unearned premium reserves, quarterly analysis of unearned premium reserves (UPR) as per IFRS 4 and local Indian GAAP.
• Monitoring of cash matching and outstanding debtor balance.
• Preparation of annual IRDAI IBNR forms and assisting actuarial valuation team by providing regular reports and inputs which are used for portfolio monitoring, actuarial assumption settings and monitoring emergence of new business value.
• Ensuring timely claims booking and claims payments as per internal policies.
• Work closely with underwriting team on Forecast & Estimation and provide up to date information on accounts received and gap between expected premium vs actuals received which will help in making accurate decision on business figures.
• Responsible for monitoring quality of controls and managing processes such as Premium validation, Profit commission, sliding scale commission and generate data analytical requests.
• Quarterly analysis of Ultimate Loss Ratio (ULR) for reserving activity in coordination with underwriters.
• SAP experience for the following modules:
  • SAP Reinsurance Ledger Module (FS-RI)
  • SAP collection and disbursement (FS-CD)
• Supporting Home office with Life Business.
• Ensuring timely indirect tax reconciliation with primary insurance companies and brokers.
• To enhance process efficiency and team’s technical skills and help them achieve their objectives.

You come equipped with

• Good knowledge of Advanced Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel & Power BI).
• Experience in SAP.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Qualification: CA, Degree in Accounting.
• Team player.
• Innovation expected in daily duties.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of technical accounting and data analytics in insurance / reinsurance sector.
