Job Overview

Relationship Manager – Corporate and Investment Banking (w/m/d) for the German Global Coverage Team. Responsible for corporate banking relationships with large German, Austrian and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Cooperation with senior bankers and product specialists to support large corporate clients (DAX / ATX / Multinationals).
• Analysis of client needs and active development of existing and new client relationships within the global Crédit Agricole Group.
• Coordination with product units and specialists within Crédit Agricole CIB for transaction design and execution (acquisition financing, capital markets, investment banking, transaction banking and structured finance).
• Global coordination of product units, specialist units, international sales units and sister companies within the Crédit Agricole Group.
• Credit analysis and company valuation, including creation of financial models (modelling).
• Preparation of presentations and documents for internal and external decision makers and boards.
• Analysis of client, sector and market information to formulate potential business approaches.
• Support in training analysts and associates.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of relevant banking or consulting experience; experience in sectors Real Estate, Chemicals and/or Pharma/Healthcare is desirable.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, deep understanding of annual statements, cash flows and company valuation, model creation and client presentations.
• Comprehensive understanding of transaction structuring, credit themes and legal documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of capital markets and regulatory environment.
• Strong business process understanding to co‑create client solutions with project teams.
• Excellent communication skills for exchange with internal hierarchy and external partners.
• Excellent time management, prioritisation and short‑term deadline handling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent German and English; French knowledge is an advantage.
