Senior Sales Director

Lead and scale a regional sales organisation driving growth across enterprise and public sector clients. This role is ideal for a senior commercial leader who thrives in a high-performance technology environment and can build deep customer and partner relationships while owning the full go-to-market strategy.

You will shape the commercial execution across a defined region within EMEA (for example Germany, France or neighbouring markets), lead sales managers and experienced sellers, and represent the region at senior leadership level.

Key Criteria

  • 10+ years in B2B technology sales with strong enterprise experience
  • Multiple years leading
    managers
    and large regional sales teams
  • Proven track record
    exceeding revenue targets
    in a similar market
  • Experience with cloud, hybrid-cloud, data storage or infrastructure solutions
  • Strong partner and alliance sales background
  • Fluent written and spoken English; regional language skills advantageous
  • Ability to travel across the assigned region when required

What you will do

  • Own the regional
    sales strategy
    and deliver revenue, growth and margin targets
  • Lead and coach managers and their sales teams to high performance
  • Build and maintain
    C-suite customer relationships
  • Support and direct strategy for major deals and complex pursuits
  • Forecast accurately and manage pipeline across enterprise and public sector accounts
  • Work closely with major
    channel, cloud and alliance partners
    to scale growth
  • Ensure excellent customer experience and serve as an escalation point where needed
  • Recruit and retain top sales talent, fostering a strong team culture
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance leaders
  • Represent the region in EMEA decision-making and planning forums

Who you are

  • Proven commercial leader in a B2B tech environment
  • Experienced at
    leading leaders
    (managing managers) across multiple territories
  • Comfortable driving complex, high-value solutions including cloud, hybrid-cloud or data infrastructure
  • Able to design and execute a robust go-to-market plan across key industry segments
  • Skilled in building influence and trust with senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong financial and forecasting acumen

What you'll bring

  • Demonstrable success growing revenue in enterprise and/or public sector markets
  • Strong understanding of regional technology buying behaviours and partner ecosystems
  • Ability to create accountability, performance culture and engagement within distributed teams
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, operating confidently at C-suite level
  • Strategic thinker who can remain hands-on and solution-focused during execution
