No more having to explain who you are, when you’re representing a company that everyone instantly knows.

You’ll be selling ocean and air freight solutions to customers across Northern Germany for a €15 billion+ worldwide group, using the advanced features of the world’s best CRM, Salesforce to aim for at least 24 customer activities a month, across visits, calls and video meetings.

You’ll focus on customers in the consumer goods, household products and fashion sectors. As a ‘hunter’ you’ll spend about 70% of your time on new potential customers, with a huge scope for the lanes and modes you can offer, thanks to the massive carrier network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage new business opportunities across Northern Germany.
  • Conduct customer activities (visits, calls, video meetings) targeting at least 24 interactions per month.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track and manage leads, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor ocean and air freight solutions to customer needs.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of freight industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Deliver on monthly and annual revenue targets (expected €400 k profit after 1–2 years, with higher potential).

Qualifications

  • Mid‑Senior level experience in freight forwarding sales, with knowledge of air or ocean freight.
  • Strong understanding of import routes (China, India, South East Asia) and export locations (USA, South Africa, Middle East).
  • Proven ability to hunt for new customers and close deals.
  • Excellent communication skills in German; English preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary €65 000–€85 000 plus 15–20 % on‑target bonus and a great benefit offering.

Performance of €600–700 k profit possible beyond 1–2 years in role.
