The Role of Commercial Director involves leading the strategy for our Mass Retail Channel in Germany. This includes being responsible for Grocery and Discount channels, as well as developing customer strategies that align with broader commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Channel Ownership: The successful candidate will have full commercial ownership of the Grocery and Discount channels in Germany.
• Customer Strategy: They must develop and execute differentiated strategies for each retailer, aligned with broader commercial goals.
• Team Leadership: Leading a team of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives is also a key aspect of this role.
• P & L Management: Owning sales forecast, gross margins, trade spends, promotional budgets and revenue targets per customer is crucial to success in this position.
• Negotiation Excellence: The ability to lead annual negotiations with local and regional customers including buying groups is essential.
