Senior Sales Manager Sports (m/f/d)

Mission

We are seeking a highly driven and results‑oriented Senior Sales Manager Sports to accelerate KINEXON's growth in the global sports market. In this role, you will take full ownership of expanding our customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and closing high‑impact deals with professional teams and leagues across Europe and Asia.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by proactively identifying, targeting, and converting high‑potential prospects across our core sports (Soccer, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Ice Hockey).
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progression through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Lead high‑level negotiations and close complex deals with senior stakeholders, including performance directors, coaching staff, and executive leadership.
  • Develop and execute strategic go‑to‑market plans to expand KINEXON's footprint in key regions and leagues.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations (online and on‑site) tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long‑term customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities to continuously refine your sales strategy.
  • Represent KINEXON at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand presence and generate leads.
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback from the field to support product innovation and strategic roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Sports Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Several years of proven success in B2B sales, ideally in sports technology, performance analytics, or a related high‑performance environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of sports performance, analytics, and technology in professional sports settings.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly for customer meetings, events, and on‑site demonstrations.
  • Experience in professional sports as an athlete, coach, or performance specialist is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; additional languages (ideally Spanish or French) are a strong advantage.
  • Ideally based in Munich or the surrounding area.
