Senior SAP IT Auditor | Leading Multinational | Mannheim | Germany

Renaix is currently recruiting for a senior SAP IT auditor to join our client, a leading multinational group with a corporate function hub in Mannheim, Germany. They have a multi-location team delivering SAP audit work across the corporate footprint. This role could be based in other locations in Europe, potentially as well, depending on your home location.

Reporting to the Audit Hub Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of SAP audit activities during business and operational engagements. Achieving objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes, analysing data over business processes, and communicating results.

SAP Auditor Job Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for analysing SAP data for business and IT processes, with a focus on identity and access management, change management, and system configurations.
• Performing end-to-end process walkthroughs across the group’s global footprint, focusing on SAP, IT and automated business controls.
• Working with both internal and external teams during audit engagements and the summary preparation of business and operational reports, findings, risks, and recommendations.
• To support the best practices of data analytics and automation-driven SAP business processes and data solutions and platforms across the group, the role contributes to the continuous improvement of the Group Finance and Compliance Departments.

Profile:

• Ideally, you will have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or computer science and professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Ideally, you will have 5+ years of strong audit and SAP business process and controls knowledge (SD, MM, R2R, FICO/COPA), and a good awareness of S/4 HANA and Central Finance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and data constructs is essential. As well as exposure to analytics and data tools like Alteryx, SQL, Qlik, and Power BI.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time, as this is a global function.
