Senior Software Developer

Full‑time, permanent – start as soon as possible.

We operate remote‑first within Germany, but if you live close to one of our locations (Munich, Cologne, Hamburg or Berlin), you may work hybrid or fully on‑site.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improve existing functionality while maintaining high quality and stability.
• Explore and integrate new tools and technologies into day‑to‑day work.
• Identify code weaknesses, analyze root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Communicate effectively with your team and other development teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
• Lead technical conversations, design solutions, and enforce architectural principles.
• Onboard and mentor new team members, facilitating their smooth integration.
• Lead or actively contribute to technical refinement sessions and support task planning.
• Stay curious about new technologies, proactively identify promising tools and assess their value for the tech stack.

Must‑Have Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with SQL databases.
• Strong understanding of and ability to design REST APIs.
• Experience with backend and frontend frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Spring Boot, Django, Svelte, React, Angular).
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (e.g., OAuth2).
• Ability to write testable code and implement automated tests.
• Fluent English skills and willingness to use them within the team for effective collaboration.

Should‑Have

• Knowledge of frontend and backend architectures.
• Experience maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ability to understand and work with event‑driven systems.
