What you can expect:

As part of your induction, we will familiarize you with our exciting products, our teams and the development environment. You will experience cutting‑edge technology at first hand and observe the results of your work directly on the end product. Your tasks will be varied and challenging. This includes in particular:

Design and programming of system software for industrial measurement technology and defect inspection
Programming and control of machine components and their processes (e.g. cameras, motor controls, microscopes, semiconductor robots)
Maintenance, testing and structuring of existing software
Software development of new products and further development of existing products
Contributing to the solution of technical application problems together with the application team

What you bring along:

Completed university degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree
Many years of experience in object‑oriented programming, especially with C# (at least expert level)
Experience in software architecture and design patterns in the planning and implementation of software requirements
Programming skills in areas such as service‑oriented design, image processing, system integration of hardware components are an advantage
Knowledge of programming languages, technologies and frameworks such as C++, Python, WPF, gRPC, OpenCV, GitLab is an advantage
Knowledge in the field of quality assurance is an advantage
Initial experience with agile, test‑driven software development (TDD, Scrum) enriches your profile, but is not a prerequisite
Very good knowledge of German and English
Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and trends
