As a Senior Software Developer for FORUM, you are designing and developing a key health data management product for ophthalmology. Especially, your outstanding experience in Java software development for medical industry will guide and support the entire team locally and internationally. You define and implement business features, technical enablers, and security concepts for a complex data management solution which runs on‑Prem and in cloud. Close collaboration with software and system architects will be essential for successful product design and development.

Your Role

• Servant leader for Java development, especially for health data management platforms
• Refine technical specifications & dependencies with architects and align with connected products
• Highlight and address technical debt and focus on continuous improvement
• Manage and track feature development and technical implementation
• Support agile planning and refinement
• Develop and apply architectural patterns, development standards, and improve development processes

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science, information technology, (software) engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years as software developer or architect, building digital products from concept to launch, strong communication skills in software engineering positions, experience in agile organizations, experience in medical software development
• Java‑EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, FHIR, DICOM, REST, OpenAPI, MySQL, DevOps, Maven, Junit/Mockito, TestNG, Security
