(Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) - Service Configuration Intelligence Team

Join the Service Configuration Intelligence team at MOIA and help shape the future of autonomous mobility. Our mission is to empower decision‑makers with data‑driven guidance that optimises our services. We build dashboards, reporting tools, and predictive models, especially for demand prediction.

What you will do

• Contribute to end‑to‑end product development, from pipeline deployment and data processing to user‑facing applications.
• Design and build infrastructure in a cloud‑native AWS environment to enable production‑ready data products.
• Develop high‑quality, maintainable code using CDK/TypeScript, Python, DBT, and other modern tools.
• Work closely with engineers, analysts, and product managers in an agile, outcome‑driven environment.
• Shape and champion software engineering excellence, including pair‑programming and code reviews.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering technical growth, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

What will help you to fulfill your role

• Broad experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Batch, Lambda, CloudWatch, Athena, Bedrock) and their use in production.
• Expertise in TypeScript and infrastructure development using AWS CDK, and deploying services with Docker and GitHub‑based CI/CD pipelines.
• Senior‑level mastery of Python for data tooling, and experience building and maintaining production‑ready codebases.
• Good understanding of software architecture and a strong foundation in agile development.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts, plus common Python developer tooling (poetry, pytest, flake8).
• Experience building APIs (REST or GraphQL) or frontend applications (React) is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with data‑focused roles is helpful but not required.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.
