On behalf of our renowned client with headquarters in Bissen (Luxembourg) we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for the automotive industry.

The position will be filled directly and permanent with the client.

Our client is an innovative, Luxembourg based high-tech company with several state-of-the-art divisions.

Your tasks

• Create high-level distributed system architecture aligning with businessrequirements and technical constraints
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring that architectural standards and best practices are followed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements
• Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation (diagrams, design specifications, technical guidelines)
• Conduct code reviews to ensure that the implementation aligns with the architectural vision and adheres to quality standards
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them, ensuring the robustness and reliability of the software
• Ensure that the architecture supports optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of the software system
• Work closely with other architects, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the software
• Ensuring that the software architecture supports high-quality standards, including security, reliability, and usability

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Working experience with: Software Defined Vehicle concept (including HPC and Hypervisor), AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), Object Oriented Analysis and Design, UML diagrams and Design Patterns
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve architectural issues and make decisions that balance technical and business needs
• Knowledge in the following areas is considered an asset: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Embedded Software Development, Micro-controller hardware and peripherals, Requirement managing tools (DOORS), Automotive processes and quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, HIS, MISRA), Model Driven Development and MathWorks, MATLAB, Simulink or similar
• Excellent communication, analytical and team working skills
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset
