Software Engineer – Conversational AIThis company builds AI assistants for automotive dealerships. Their platform answers customer calls and messages, books appointments, and connects to dealership systems such as CRMs and schedulers.About the RoleYou’ll design, develop, and maintain Conversational AI systems and supporting services that power intelligent, large-scale customer interactions. This role sits at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and modern software engineering.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance voice and chat AI systems (NLP, intent recognition).Build scalable, efficient, and reliable features across an AI-driven product stack.Integrate with dealership systems and cloud services (Azure).Write clean, maintainable, testable code in Python and/or C# (.NET).Own end-to-end LLM development, including fine-tuning, prompt optimization, and deployment.Ensure real-time, reliable communication between customers and dealerships.Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to engineering best practices.Build and maintain evaluation pipelines for AI performance and accuracy.RequirementsBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.~5 years of experience in software engineering.Proficiency in Python or C# (.NET).Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and problem solving.Experience in cloud-based development, preferably Azure.Nice to HaveExperience with LLMs, RAG, or vector databases.Familiarity with NLU, ASR, or conversational AI metrics.Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.Understanding of real-time AI evaluation (intent accuracy, latency, fallback handling).
