Our product development is located in the Products & Engineering department, which consists of 15 cross-functional product teams in three product areas (Consumer, Business, and Platform), working in an agile environment.
Strengthen our Core Team as a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack with a focus on backend and support us in actively shaping the interface between our platform, customers, and users!
In this role, you will develop and maintain central, platform-spanning functions that enable our stakeholders to work smoothly on our platform and create consistent experiences in a multi-domain environment.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack:
- Work closely with a cross-functional product team to develop and further develop central services of the eTrusted platform.
- Use TypeScript and Java in an event-driven microservices architecture on AWS to drive the development of the platform forward.
- Apply your Fullstack expertise: create individual backend APIs and develop effective data visualizations for our customers.
- The code is in your responsibility from development to deployment, following the motto "You build it, you own it".

A typical day as a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) Fullstack at Trusted Shops:
- Start your day by setting up your remote workspace or your desk in the office.
- Check your personal task manager to keep track of projects and tasks, from short-term to-dos to progress on larger epics.
- Participate in the daily team stand-up to align with your colleagues on the sprint backlog or Kanban board, set priorities, and pursue common goals.
- Work focused on sprint stories, tasks, or bug fixes - either individually or through pair or mob programming in the team.
- Enjoy a flexible lunch break, either with a self-cooked meal at home or a relaxed restaurant visit with colleagues nearby.

Job requirements:
- You have extensive experience in backend development (primarily) in TypeScript, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot, as well as in frontend development in React.
- You are experienced in working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and have basic SQL database knowledge.
- You master cloud deployment and management, especially with AWS Lambdas, and can orchestrate web apps in container environments like AWS ECS.
- You have in-depth knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, including workloads, networks, and storage solutions.
- You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and value clean, performant code and testing.
- You have several years of practical experience in Fullstack development and maintain a respectful and cooperative team approach.
- Your communication skills in English are excellent; additional language skills are a plus.
- You are motivated to achieve team goals and willing to go the extra mile for joint success.
