Senior Software Engineer - Java (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality products that meet all functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Develop scalable and easily usable Java applications.
• Create comprehensive documentation.
• Develop with the best coding standards, policies, and procedures for development, continuous integration, and deployment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Experience with software development projects and delivery methods.
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts with Java.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Experience with database persistence (JDBC) and in‑depth knowledge of relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with SOAP & REST web services and experience developing microservices as well as unit tests.
• Good understanding of software design and architecture and the ability to read, understand and follow architectural diagrams.
• Excellent understanding of Git and confident use of it.
• Fluent in German and English – we work in an international team.
• Ideally, experience in virtual collaboration with Teams at different locations.
