Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) – Tech Lead .NET / C#

Your mission

You play a key role in building a new, strategically important web-based product within the myneva portfolio. As a Senior Software Engineer with Tech Lead responsibility, you shape the technical architecture of the product and significantly influence its integration into existing myneva products through well-designed, API-first interfaces.

You work predominantly hands-on using .NET / C#, defining technical guardrails and ensuring that architectural decisions are scalable, maintainable, and robust in the long term. In addition, you take on technical leadership for a growing engineering team, acting as a role model for engineering excellence, modern development practices, and the responsible use of new technologies—including AI-supported development tools.

In this role, you combine deep technical expertise, product thinking, and pragmatic leadership to help build a sustainable product that can scale across markets and regulatory environments.

Your Responsibilities

• You design and evolve the application and integration architecture of a new web-based product.
• You design and own core backend and API components using .NET / C#.
• You set technical standards and ensure scalable, maintainable implementations.
• You guide architectural decisions considering security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• You work hands-on in development and act as a technical role model.
• You lead and mentor engineers through reviews, coaching, and technical decisions.
• You enable responsible and effective use of AI-supported development tools.
• You collaborate closely with product management and neighboring teams.

Your profile

• You bring several years of professional experience in backend or fullstack software development using .NET / C#.
• You have strong experience designing APIs and working with modular or distributed system architectures.
• You demonstrate a clear architectural mindset and make technical decisions with long-term scalability and maintainability in mind.
• You have experience taking technical leadership responsibility, mentoring engineers, and guiding teams through complex decisions.
• You enjoy working hands-on while owning critical or foundational system components.
• You understand security, data protection, and regulatory requirements and incorporate them into technical decisions.
• You have practical experience using AI-supported development tools and understand their benefits, limitations, and risks.
• You communicate confidently in English (C1 level); German is an advantage.
