Senior Software Quality Analyst (f/m/d)

Your role - Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts for web and desktop applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Ranorex.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and maintain and optimize test infrastructure ensuring efficient, reliable execution and reporting.
• Champion agile testing methodologies (BDD, TDD), collaborating with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria early in the development cycle and automate scenario-based tests (Gherkin).
• Develop automated tests using BDD/TDD frameworks and ensure its maintenance to improve performance and accuracy, proactively addressing flaky or obsolete tests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss progress and in roadmap planning.
• Support SQA manager in optimizing Agile Testing process to enhance the quality and efficiency of software development and ensure alignment with the product roadmap and Scrum team priorities.
• Ensure all automation and documentation comply with applicable standards, supporting audit and regulatory readiness.

Yoor Profile - Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in agile testing and automation for software applications (web and desktop), ideally within a regulated environment.
• Proven experience with modern automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Ranorex).
• Solid understanding of BDD/TDD practices and test integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Azure Test Plans.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and test infrastructure management.
• Experience mentoring others in test automation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IEC 62366-1) is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information, manage priorities, and work autonomously.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of German.
• Additional languages are an asset.
