We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Senior Solutions Design Manager Europe & MEA – Warehouse Design. In this position you will play a crucial role to lead and strategize complex warehouse design projects across our Europe & MEA countries and clusters. You will collaborate closely with our commercial team to understand customer requirements and co-develop impactful technical solutions where you can showcase your expertise, drive customer success, and shape the future of warehouse design!
 This is an individual contributor role.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Develop and design high technical/commercial warehouse solutions together with the project team
• Model scenarios of current and future operational solutions, and present and advise alternative cost-benefit analysis and value models
• Advise the customer in new and innovative solutions which address the customer's needs and demonstrate clear solution fit
• Support the development of a commercial framework for your proposed innovative solution with Business Development & Key Account Managers in order to achieve DSC's growth, contract retention, and continuous improvement objectives.
• Learn, grow, and become the driver of sustainability and innovation for our customers

Now, here’s what we need from you:

• 5 to 8 years experience in logistics or end-to-end supply chain
• Previous exposure to modeling and designing of complex warehousing solutions or domestic transport network, logistics/site operations, etc.
• Previous experience/knowledge in project management within supply chain environment
• Advanced knowledge in data analysis using Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders
• Ability to work successfully in a complex and international environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
• A master’s degree in (or with a focus on) Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
• English & German fluency at business level

What can you bring as a plus?

• Experience in technical sales
• Good understanding of all solutions design tools, techniques, and procedures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, SketchUp or similar tools
• Warehouse Automation
• Any further European language will be a plus
