Mögliche Aufgaben dieser Rolle

As (Senior) Specialist Accounting / IT, you will be an integral part of our Accounting Parent team and will support us in managing the interface with the IT department, which manages the IT systems (S/4HANA, Quantum etc.). You will be actively involved in the Finance Demand Process Team to streamline and improve processes for several worldwide operating group companies on our S/4HANA system.

• Interface to the IT department in the definition of accounting specific requirements
• Contact person for interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems
• Contact person to stakeholder in the group companies (Germany, Sweden, US)
• SAP Key User Function for FI/CO
• Support for improvements of SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Development and documentation of existing processes and systems
• Supervision of subject-specific special topics and projects
• Implementation / processing of requirements regarding control actions
• Maintainence of central Chart of Accounts and reporting tools to Volkswagen AG
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Anforderungen an die Qualifikation

• Degree in Economics or successfully completed commercial training with corresponding further training as an Accountant
• Several years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
• Knowledge of Accounting according to IFRS and HGB
• Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO
• High affinity for IT and ability to keep pace with technological advances
• High level of entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as problem-solving skills
• Independent way of working, communication skills and reliability
• Fluency in German and English both written and verbal
