This position is temporary for 1,5 years, as a Parental leave cover.
Key responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing – Handle incoming invoices, credit/debit notes, including posting and verification of legal requirements.
- Process Harmonization – Contribute to standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of AP processes.
- Documentation – Support in creating and maintaining process documentation.
- Reconciliation & Issue Resolution – Analyze and resolve price/quantity discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Expense Management – Process and control employee and travel expense claims.
- Payment Execution – Coordinate and carry out weekly payment runs.
- Closing Activities – Perform AP month-end tasks (z. B. GR/IR-Analysen, Klärungen, Reklassifizierungen).
- Onboarding & Knowledge Sharing – Assist in onboarding new colleagues and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
We expect:
- Educational Background – Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Accounting Expertise – Solid experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable, with strong understanding of general accounting and VAT regulations.
- International Experience – Previous experience working in an international environment and collaborating across cultures.
- System & Tool Proficiency – SAP FI knowledge preferred, advanced skills in MS Outlook and Excel.
- Accuracy & Ownership – High level of accountability, precision, and reliability in daily work.
- Communication & Collaboration – Strong communication skills and a cooperative, solution-oriented mindset.
- Team Orientation – Ability to thrive in diverse teams and adapt to different company and country cultures.
- Language Skills – Fluent in English plus one additional European language (e.g., French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Turkish).
