(Senior) Specialist Learning & Development (m/w/x)

• Design and continuously improve leadership development programs and learning formats
• Personally deliver trainings, workshops, and leadership sessions (in-person & virtual)
• Identify leadership capability gaps and translate them into practical development initiatives
• Strengthen core leadership skills such as accountability, feedback, and performance management
• Embed Thorlabs values (Respect, Accountability, Empathy, Innovation, Trust) into daily leadership behavior
• Partner with HR and business leaders to align development initiatives with business priorities
• Connect learning initiatives with talent management and succession planning

• Degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Adult Education, or a related field; additional certifications in OD, Change Management, Coaching, or Facilitation are a plus.
• Several years of experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development, or similar roles
• Proven experience designing and delivering leadership programs and trainings
• Strong facilitation skills and confidence working with leaders
• Business-oriented mindset with a focus on practical impact
• Experience in international, matrixed environments
• Fluent in English and German
• Willingness to travel within Europe (~25%)
