Your Role

  • Responsible for hardware development and verification of Automotive high-voltage traction inverter reference designs at voltages up to 1 kV and power levels up to 300 kW
  • Supporting technical Go-to-Market activities on application level to enable design-in / win for Infineon inverter chipset
  • Supporting novel mobility concepts, such as vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) vehicles, with technical analyses and product recommendations
  • Providing 3rd level technical support for Infineon solution offerings
  • Providing technical application trainings to internal and external partners
  • Conducting technical competitor analyses on system level and verification studies on traction inverter prototypes
  • Supporting innovations and know-how generation on system level via cooperation projects and customer engagement

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related subject
  • At least 5 years working experience in Electronics development for an Automotive supplier or vehicle manufacturer
  • In-depth experience with high-voltage hardware design in Altium Designer or a comparable tool
  • Practical experience with analog simulations of power electronic components and circuits in LT-Spice or a comparable tool
  • Know-how on high-voltage laboratory measurement technique and ability to specify and develop dedicated measurement setups
  • Detailed knowledge of Automotive microcontrollers, as well as wide-bandgap power switches
  • A strong hands-on approach and problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent in English and good communication skills
