Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international steel trading house looking to hire a senior steel trader

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Develop and manage a personal portfolio of steel clients, leveraging existing relationships to generate new trading opportunities.
Lead trading activities in your core steel product area, expanding business opportunities across global markets.
Negotiate deals and manage end-to-end trades, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.
Role reports to Managing Director

Key Qualifications / Experience

Proven track record in international steel trading, with an established client and supplier network.
Strong product knowledge in at least one major steel category (flat, long, stainless, prime or non-prime).
Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, with the ability to manage deals from sourcing to delivery.
Role is to be located across Germany, Switzerland or Italy
