Senior Stress Engineer Aerospace (m/f/d)

Aufgaben

• You lead and perform structural analyses across development phases and the lifecycle of several aircraft, focusing on stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance for metal and composite components.
• You define means of compliance for structural analyses and ensure clear documentation of data sets and drawing release processes (Analysis Signature in the data set/draw release process).
• You develop and implement program code routines for analysis processes (FEM pre-/post-processing, automated calculations, digital data processing).
• You plan activities according to defined deliverables, supervise internal and external tasks in projects, and drive New Aircraft Developments (CS25).
• You prepare stress, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analysis reports and certification documents in line with CS/JAR/FAR Part 23/25/27/29, and assess production non-conformities or concessions.

Profil

• You hold a Master of Engineering/Sciences or a Dr./PhD in Aeronautics/Aviation or Mechanical Engineering.
• You bring very good presenting, communication, and leadership skills.
• You have more than 10 years of professional experience in structural analyses across the development and lifecycle of multiple aircraft, with recognized expertise in stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance for metal and composite components.
• You possess broad knowledge of airframe certification requirements , design criteria, materials, methods, and tools.
• You have experience leading complex tasks internally and externally , including New Aircraft Development (CS25) and handling production non-conformities/concessions.
