The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following :

• As Senior System Administrator you take responsibility for the performances under their webpage.
• You will monitor and improve our build, deployment and rollback in case of failure processes.
• Optimization of the availability and performance under the website even further.
• Documenting operational processes and know-how.
• You will work together with the development and quality control teams.
• Implement in accordance with the governance requirements of the company, efficient operating processes and are the first contact for the change and incident management.

Requirements

• Enjoy working in an agile and successful self-organizing project team, where previous experience using SCRUM is valuable. -Solid experience in the holistic operation of Enterprise Web applications.
• Experience using Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian).
• Understanding of the processes of software development and ability to see the bigger picture of the projects.
• Previous experience with all the next technologies is a big plus :
• Load Balancing (HA-Proxy)
• Web server (nginx)
• Caching technologies (Varnish)
• Enterprise search engines (SOLR)
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Monitoring (CheckMK / Nagios)
• Version control systems (Subversion / Git)
• Proactive attitude
• High sense of initiative and commitment to work together hand in hand with different teams.
