Senior Systems Engineer (Battery Storage) - Baden-Wuerttemberg - Up to €115,000 + Bonus (m/f/d)

Based in South West Germany, my international client is offering 3 x unique Senior Systems Engineer positions, focusing on different elements of battery storage.

At the core of the sprawling Engineering sector, this technology giant develops world-leading Electronic Solutions for multiple industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require 3 x Senior Systems Engineers to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

Designs and specifies low and medium-voltage (LV/MV) substations and distribution networks for large-scale Battery Storage installations connected to the grid.
Oversees the development and integration of both primary and secondary electrical technologies, ensuring high-performance system operation.
Prioritizes modular and standardized solutions to maximize efficiency, adaptability, and long-term scalability.
Provides technical oversight to external suppliers, reviewing and approving final configurations to meet project specifications.
Acts as the primary liaison between engineering, sales, and project management, ensuring seamless alignment between technical requirements and commercial goals.
Represents the company as an industry specialist, collaborating with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, engineering consultancies, and external contractors.
Develops strategic maintenance approaches to streamline the upkeep and servicing of LV/MV infrastructure.
Ensures that all technical guidelines, procedural documentation, and regulatory records are up to date and fully compliant with industry standards.

Requirements

Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar.
7+ years experience in power systems and grid integration.
Comprehensive knowledge in one or more of the following: containerized battery storage solutions, LV/MV switchgear technology, or Battery Inverters.
Strong expertise in European regulations and standards (VDE) for Battery Storage Systems (Grid setting).
Fluency in English.
