Our partner, an International Law Firm, is looking for a Senior Tax Associate with prior experience in a Law Firm in Luxembourg, as part of its expansion and to maintain the guarantee of legal service of the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Assisting both domestic and foreign clients on legal tax advisory and structuring matters.
• Supporting clients in the establishment of tailor-made tax strategies in light of current tax developments.
• Following legislative developments and providing clients advice on how forthcoming regulations can affect their businesses and personal budgets.
• Curating a strong relationship with clients and engaging in various business development strategies for the firm.

Profile and Career Path

• At least four years of experience within a Luxembourgish law firm, in the Tax department.
• Fluent in English (read, written and spoken), to handle client files autonomously.
• Member of the Luxembourg Bar, eager to become a real expert in this small Tax team. The Partner will still happily assist with questions, but you will have a lot of autonomy.

Offer

• Depending on experience, skillset, and exposure to complex files, salary as an Employed Lawyer may reach 130 000 € gross per year, in addition to meal vouchers and insurance. A position as an independent lawyer is also possible, but this will be entirely up to the candidate.
• Participation in a rewards program related to business, with billables having an immediate impact on the annual bonus. Note that the expectation in terms of billable hours is lower than in Magic Circle firms for example.
