Ensuring the operational readiness, reliability and optimization of equipment and tools. Continuous improvement and implementation of changes to equipment and tools. Supporting R&D in the development and design of new equipment for the introduction of new products.

Tasks

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of team members
  • Monitoring and analysis: Regular inspection and monitoring of equipment and tools
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving: Identifying and resolving technical problems to ensure operational readiness and reliability
  • Planning, coordination and execution of repairs and maintenance
  • Documentation and validation: Creating and maintaining documentation for mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components as well as validating spare parts for equipment and tools
  • Spare parts storing and ordering
  • Applying Lean principles and driving continuous process improvement
  • Optimization and modification of equipment in coordination with ME Support and R&D
  • Planning and management of projects within the area of responsibility
  • Supporting NPI in the development, construction and modification of equipment and tools

Profile

  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience in the maintenance or technical support of production facilities, including at least three years of management experience in this area
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanics, electrical engineering and control systems for production facilities
  • Experience with ERP and MES systems and Lean methods (TPM desirable)
  • Familiarity with quality management and safety standards (ISO HSE)
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills and fluency in English
  • Additional qualifications such as REFA Maintenance Manager, CMRP, Six Sigma or Lean Expert are advantageous
