Senior Technical Applications Engineer

Overview

Leading semiconductor company seeks a Senior Technical Application Engineer for their technical and customer support group based at their R&D Centre in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a small, high-calibre team supporting video interface software and hardware products including high-speed SerDes to external and internal customers.
• Write software in C, C++ and Python to control instrumentation for emerging automotive technologies and contribute to reference design development.
• Collaborate with embedded software and hardware teams; act as a contact point for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar with several years of experience supporting customers and integrating products into customer development projects.
• Hands-on skills with SerDes architecture; programming experience in C, C++ and Python.
• Comfort with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, interface analysers); exposure to PCB development or 3D field simulation (EM, CST, HFSS) beneficial.
• Fully authorised to work in the EU; fluent in German and English.
