Overview
We are working with a rapidly growing international medical technology company who are seeking an experienced and driven Regional/Territory Sales Manager to support the transition to a direct sales model and accelerate adoption of innovative solutions within infection management for bone and soft tissue.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role will have full ownership of a defined region, driving commercial performance while developing long‑term clinical partnerships and advocacy.
The Role
- Lead and manage a defined sales region to achieve and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets
- Support the transition from distributor‑led sales to a direct commercial model
- Implement national and regional sales strategies in alignment with leadership direction
- Develop deep clinical and technical expertise to act as a trusted subject matter expert
- Drive product adoption to improve patient outcomes and clinical practice
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver budgeted sales growth within the assigned territory
- Identify, develop, and manage key strategic accounts and future clinical advocates
- Establish and support key users within hospitals and clinical settings
- Work closely with clinicians to gather clinical data and facilitate presentations of clinical outcomes by healthcare professionals
- Expand product usage across additional specialties (e.g. podiatry, soft tissue, surgical settings)
- Develop surgeons, clinicians, and institutions into long‑term advocates for the technology
- Capitalise on growth opportunities linked to current and future regulatory clearances
- Work collaboratively with marketing and clinical/technical teams to contribute to marketing materials and identify sources of clinical and health economic data for regulatory and market access submissions
- Operate at all times in an ethical, compliant, and professional manner, maintaining high standards of integrity
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in medical device, orthopaedics, wound care, or pharmaceutical sales
- Demonstrated success in territory management, budget achievement, and sales growth
- Confident, service‑oriented, and passionate about innovative medical technologies
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting complex solutions to clinical audiences
- Ability to influence and engage key stakeholders including surgeons, clinicians, microbiologists, and procurement teams
- Highly self‑motivated, organised, and adaptable with a strong desire to learn
- Resilient, tenacious, and resourceful when faced with challenges or rejection
- Comfortable working in clinical environments, including operating theatres
