Senior User Experience Researchers own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects, and consistently achieve research outputs needed by Product teams to inform strategic decisions. The research findings impact Agoda's business by informing design, product direction, end user experience, market strategy, or related areas.

Work in the heart of Asia with relocation support for Bangkok. This position is open to worldwide candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead core end-to-end research activities, including driving research objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication
• Plan and scope research projects; conduct studies and report findings to inform product decisions
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering and other stakeholders to translate research into actionable insights
• Demonstrate critical thinking beyond explicit business requests

Qualifications

• Master degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing domains
• Strong ability to plan, scope, conduct, analyze and communicate research
• Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, direct observation, usability testing, etc.)
• Experience with quantitative research (metrics, surveys, sampling, statistical concepts, etc.)
• Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors
• Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities to diverse stakeholders using quantitative and qualitative data
• Strong critical thinking, storytelling and communication skills (English)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, data-driven environment
• Knowledge of data compliance and ethics in research

Location & Relocation

Bangkok, Thailand. Relocation package provided to assist with moving and settling in Bangkok.
