In the Journey Team “Paid Subscriptions” we focus on making cooking simpler, inspiring, and stress‑free for millions of people – through premium experiences that deliver real value.
The team behind Chefkoch PLUS shapes everything that makes our paid offering stand out: intelligent weekly planners, smart ingredient reuse, exclusive content, and features that noticeably ease our users’ cooking day. Our goal: attract more people to Chefkoch PLUS and keep them as satisfied, active subscribers over the long term.
Responsibilities
- You lead the user experience in Paid Subscriptions – from concept through prototyping to final interface.
- You collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering to develop user‑centric solutions that delight paid users and support business goals.
- You translate user needs and business objectives into clear, intuitive, and engaging UX concepts, using research, testing, and data analysis to validate hypotheses and continuously optimize.
- You benchmark the market, identify best practices, and incorporate findings into new and ongoing feature development.
- You develop designs that respect the existing design system, flows, and interaction patterns, ensuring they are scalable and emotionally compelling.
- You bring a clear UX perspective to strategic discussions and ensure both users and business benefit.
- You work closely with other UX and UI designers as reciprocal sparring partners for ideas, learnings, and cross‑team product vision.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a UX designer, ideally in mobile apps, digital subscription models, or digital media.
- Leads you towards user‑centric, holistic thinking – from experience to usability to conversion.
- You can translate complex requirements into simple, effective design solutions.
- You stay updated on UX trends and other digital market developments and make them useful for your work.
- You are proficient with UX research methods, prototyping, and tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar.
- You understand business goals and KPIs and know how good design can measurably lift product success.
- You have experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams.
