Role Description

The Senior VMware & Hybrid Infrastructure Presales Solutions Architect will play a key role in architecting, designing, and proposing IT solutions focused on VMware and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include engaging with clients to understand requirements, developing customized solutions, presenting technical concepts effectively, and working closely with the sales and engineering teams to deliver tailored strategies. This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Germany, requiring close collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in VMware solutions, including virtualization, vSphere, and related products.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent presales experience, including technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and client engagement.
• Ability to design and propose tailored IT architectures aligned with client needs.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and integration between on‑premises and cloud systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an accessible and compelling manner.
• Experience in collaborating with sales and engineering teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as VMware VCP or VCAP, and familiarity with industry best practices are highly beneficial.
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is a strong advantage.
