Senior Warehouse Manager – WuXi Biologics

Location: Wuxi Biologics, Dundalk

Reporting to EU Supply Chain Leadership, this role is responsible for the operation of the Warehouse function in Germany, including business planning and day‑to‑day operations of the site warehouse and 3PL. The successful candidate will develop key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee smooth site operations, manage systems, KPIs, reporting, and lead the warehouse team to support manufacturing requirements in line with local and global best practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• A key member of the Supply Chain Management team, ensuring cross‑functional collaboration and leadership execution.
• Engage extensively with stakeholders and business leaders across the WuXi Biologics network and externally, maintaining a professional representation of WuXi Biologics.
• Assume full responsibility for on‑site and 3PL warehouse management in Germany.
• Set local functional goals and KPIs aligned with Global Supply Chain Management and site business strategy.
• Lead and develop the Warehouse team to deliver all functional objectives and KPIs.
• Oversee timely, secure, and accurate receiving, storing, picking/distribution of materials and products.
• Collaborate closely with finance and operations on CAPEX management and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse resources, capacity, and 3PL services to meet current and future needs.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and adherence to all regulatory and WuXi Biologics standards.
• Manage all warehouse GMP standards and activities, including SOPs, deviations, CAPA, and change management, and represent Supply Chain in audits and inspections.
• Coordinate with PEV and other departments to maintain validation requirements.
• Lead lean operations, budget, and expense management for facilities, equipment, and service providers.
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations focusing on people, safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Provide additional support to other supply chain functions as required.
• Act as a role model for the Supply Chain function and the wider organization, embodying WuXi core values and the PROUD culture.

Person Specification – Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (experience will be considered).

Technical Competencies / Experience Required

• Significant warehouse experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Well‑rounded exposure to all areas, especially GMP considerations and inventory control.
• Experience driving functional and cross‑functional team performance.
• Experience managing or working closely with a 3PL highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP, WMS, ERP systems and Office software.

Knowledge

• Track record of progressive responsibility in a warehouse environment.
• Expertise in SAP and warehouse management processes.
• Understanding of cGMP warehouse regulations and GMP cold chain transport.
• Strong interpersonal skills and problem‑solving ability at all levels.
• Track record of delivering continuous improvement opportunities.
• Excellent project management and multi‑project handling skills.
• Collaborative leadership with initiative and team development capability.
• Willingness to travel if required.
• Flexibility to meet business needs.
