Responsibilities

• The focus of the role is on the holistic support of Windows-based server and client infrastructures as well as the management of corresponding projects.
• Operations & Technology: Responsibility for the operation of Windows-based servers and clients. Project planning, implementation and commissioning of Windows servers and clients. In-depth problem and error analysis as well as problem solving in complex system landscapes. Operation and support of end-user hardware such as printers and scanners (manufacturer HP).
• Management & conception: Creation of decision templates, strategic concepts (e.g. for area organization) and documentation. Conception and monitoring of measures to ensure service levels and customer satisfaction. Management of complex orders including scheduling of resources and suppliers. Design and introduction of supporting tools and workflows.
• Strategy & further development: Collaboration or technical management in acquisitions and further development of the portfolio. Participation in projects of public clients (federal/state).
• Additional tasks: Incident, problem and change management as well as 2nd/3rd level support. Application management (e.g. SAP, MS Exchange) and database administration. Responsibility for physical systems (data center), capacity planning and data backup concepts.

Your profile

• We are looking for an experienced specialist with a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills
• Education & experience: Master's or diploma degree (or comparable knowledge) | At least 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in IT administration with a corresponding degree of complexity
• Technical knowledge (hard skills): Operating systems: Sound experience with Windows Server (incl. DHCP, DNS) and Windows Client (FAT Clients, Horizon VDI Management, IGEL Thin Clients) | Software: Experience with OMNISSA WorkspaceONE and confident with MS Office | Hardware: Experience with Samsung Mobile devices is desirable
• Certifications & languages: ITIL Expert certification (or comparable) | Business fluent in written and spoken German | Very good knowledge of English.
• Personal competencies (soft skills): Strong leadership skills and personality | Entrepreneurial thinking and professional appearance at management level | High analytical skills as well as a systematic and structured way of working | Very good presentation, moderation, team and conflict management skills.
