How to support our team

• You’ll be responsible for strategic and operational SEO and GEO consulting for our existing clients
• Independently analyze and communicate strategic and technical optimization measures
• Proactively identify SEO opportunities and issues for your clients
• You’ll act as a trusted advisor, maintaining regular, direct client communication.
• Independently prepare ad‑hoc analyses and solutions, e.g., in case of visibility drops or current developments
• You’ll manage projects and brief client tasks to our internal team members (e.g., SEO analysts or editors).
• Conducting workshops for employees and clients.

Requirements

• You’ve already independently and successfully managed and further developed SEO and client projects.
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience as an in‑house SEO or at an SEO agency.
• Communication is your strength, and you enjoy explaining complex SEO or GEO concepts in a clear way. You can interact effectively with clients and know how to coordinate internal teams.
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area, or you’re excited to relocate to Berlin or nearby for this role.
• You have experience with common SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SISTRIX, Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs).
• You understand how Google and other search engines work and keep up with the latest industry developments.
• You work in a structured, sustainable manner and have strong self‑discipline.
• You’re characterized by solution‑oriented thinking and aren’t afraid of more complex client questions.
• Native-level German and good English skills round out your profile.

• Step 1 – Review We review the documents you have submitted and consult with the relevant department.
• Step 2 – Initial interview In the second step, we would like to invite you to a first meeting. The interview will take place with the HR department and a team leader.
• Step 3 – Second interview and, if applicable, trial assignment Depending on the position in question, you will receive a trial assignment from us that simulates a typical situation from our day‑to‑day work. In the subsequent second interview, which preferably takes place in our office, the task is discussed and evaluated.
• Step 4 – Getting to know the team We would like to invite you to our office again to get to know the team and our founders. Afterwards, we will make you an offer and hope to have inspired you for Claneo.
