Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin Social Media Content Moderator (m/f/d)

Role objective:

Content Moderators are essential in shaping social media, ensuring posts align with community standards. Join our dynamic team of Western Balkan in Berlin and help keep our partner’s platform a welcoming space for all users.

Location: Berlin
Working Hours: Part-time or full-time (3 weeks full-time training)
Start: Immediately available

Ideally, you have:

• Excellent Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin & English language skills – no German needed!
• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Germany
• High awareness of the cultural and political situation, noteworthy social issues, and popular trends in the market/region you will be supporting
• A clean, blank certificate of good conduct must be presented before starting work
• Ability to work in rotating shifts (24/7)

*All amounts are stated as gross and will be prorated for part-time positions.

As a Content Moderator you will:

• Evaluate user-generated reports that flag offensive or disturbing postings based on our client's policies and guidelines
• Review, block and delete content that goes against our client’s community standards
• Commit to deliver a high standard of accuracy and quality at all times
• Have a direct influence on reducing hate, racism, bullying, cybercrimes and the spread of misinformation in online spaces
