This position reports to: Service Team Leader

The work model for the role is: hybrid/ #LI-Hybrid.

Key responsibilities

In this position, you will support ABB process control systems for our customers in the energy, oil and gas, and chemical industries across the Northern Germany region, working from our Hannover location. You will provide first-class, professional service either on-site at customer facilities or via remote support. Your practical experience and understanding of customer needs will help you not only build strong customer relationships but also actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

• Active participation in automation projects
• Planning of automation systems
• Programming of automation solutions
• Commissioning of the planned and programmed systems
• Service and support after commissioning
• Contribution to projects in the field of automation for natural gas storage or natural gas transport

Qualifications for the role

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering
• Initial professional experience is desirable; the position is also suitable for entry-level candidates
• High willingness to travel within Northwest Germany
• Ideally, experience in the automation of natural gas storage facilities or natural gas transport; experience with ABB 800xA/Freelance is an advantage
• Business-fluent German and fluent English, both written and spoken
