We are currently looking for a Service Manager (m / f / d) for our client.

• Weekly working hours : 37 hours (5-day week)
• Location : Full-time on site in Cologne
• Type of contract : Temporary employment (ANÜ)
• Willingness to undergo a security check (incl. fulfillment of the criteria) is a prerequisite

Your tasks

• The Service Manager acts as the central interface between the customer and operations. He is responsible for the support of existing customers with complex IT services.
• Commercial & technical customer support: End-to-end support of offers, business cases, orders, projects, operations, billing and performance reporting. Creation, negotiation and maintenance of service level agreements. Calculation of customer quotations, coordination of approvals and drafting of quotation texts.
• Sales & Growth: Recognizing and realizing sales opportunities (sales opportunities). Supporting the sales team, including technical support for offers and collaboration in the drafting of contracts.
• Operational management & projects: Translation of requirements into stable, scalable services. Ensuring smooth service delivery through proactive stakeholder, incident and change management. Taking over project management for more complex customer orders (changes). Further development and optimization of methods and procedures in service management. Participation in projects for public clients (federal or state).

Your profile

• Education & Experience: Degree: Master’s or diploma degree (or equivalent knowledge / skills) | Professional experience: At least 7 years, of which at least 5 years in service management | Project experience: Extensive experience in migration projects.
• Professional competencies (hard skills): Certification: ITIL Expert certification (or comparable) | IT knowledge: Very good, broad knowledge of IT infrastructure services | Business: Good business knowledge (creation of business cases, product calculations) | Tools: Confident handling of the MS Office product range.
• Personal skills (soft skills): Appearance: Professional, trustworthy and empathetic demeanor at management level (CxO) | Mindset: High analytical, systematic and conceptual thinking skills as well as entrepreneurial approach | Communication: Strong presentation, moderation and negotiation skills | Leadership: Ability to work in a team with simultaneous leadership skills; experience in coaching and knowledge transfer | Mentality: Strong willingness to take responsibility in customer relationships; high flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
• Languages: Business fluent in written and spoken German | Very good command of English.
