Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.**What You’ll Get To Do:*** Directly supervise all activities in the loading and shipping of bulk cement* Accurately completes and properly routes required shipping paperwork on a timely basis. Prepares daily inventory levels and sales reports. Process all product shipping department documents promptly and accurately including BOLs* Fully understand all loading and material transfer systems within the storage and shipping silos area; ensure that all shipping department personnel are operating efficiently, and in accordance with Company safety policies and general work rules.* Develops SOPs and training plans for the department, revising as needed to eliminate inefficiencies and improve productivity.* Responsible for the proper maintenance of all equipment in the shipping department; troubleshoot equipment outages and initiates remedial work and timely requests of maintenance personnel.* Supervise and direct Plant Yard crew, and contractors for projects as required.**Who we are looking for:*** Ability to communicate effectively and interact as a team member* Good supervisory, leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills* Able to troubleshoot equipment.* Possess problem solving and analytical skills* Proficient with Microsoft Office required, SAP and Kronos experience preferred* Able to deal with a multitude of tasks simultaneously**Work Environment:*** Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels**What we have to offer:*** Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan* Highly competitive benefits programs* Pension retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Our pre-employment process includes: reference checks, a medical including drug & alcohol testing, a criminal record check and a drivers abstract check.
