Shopfloor IT Support Engineer – Manufacturing

We are looking for a proactive
Shopfloor IT Support Engineer
to support, troubleshoot, and optimize IT systems across advanced manufacturing environments. You will collaborate closely with production teams, IT stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth shop-floor operations and quick incident resolution.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and resolve daily incidents (ideally using
  Remedy
  or similar ITSM tools)
• Support manufacturing users (IT & business) with functional system issues
• Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and problem solving
• Provide stakeholder management and prepare operational reports
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve issues quickly
• Maintain compliance with
  ITIL processes
  (Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem)
• Ensure SLA KPIs are achieved and service quality is maintained
• Work in
  shift rotation
  to support 24/7 manufacturing environments
• Collaborate with SMEs and external partners for escalations
• Provide progress updates to management and stakeholders

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
• Experience supporting
  manufacturing shopfloor systems
• Knowledge of
  IT end-devices
  (printers, scanners, terminals, etc.)
• Hands-on experience supporting
  MES, SAP, CAD/CAM
  environments
• Understanding of
  Windows Server basics
• Experience in complex & high-tech production environments is an advantage
• Familiarity with
  ServiceNow / Remedy
  and
  ITIL
  service processes
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent German & English
• Willingness to travel across Germany when required
