Shopify Developer - 241018-06 / 06

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Shopify Front‑End Developer with 2 years of experience to join our remote team. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to improve and maintain Shopify storefronts for a wide range of e‑commerce clients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible UIs with clean, semantic mark‑up
• Maintain and enhance existing storefronts without compromising functionality
• Collaborate with the team on planning, problem-solving, and feature implementation
• Debug and optimize front-end performance and codebase efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of front-end development experience, ideally in a structured e-commerce environment (8+ employees)
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and asynchronous programming
• Strong skills in HTML / CSS, including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Comfortable working with Git and standard version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving ability—able to debug issues and optimize existing code
• Ability to learn independently and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Clear and professional communication skills; able to work across cultures and time zones

Nice to Have (not mandatory)

• Deep understanding of native browser APIs and advanced DOM manipulation
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar
• Experience with API integrations (REST or GraphQL)
• Testing mindset, with exposure to unit and integration testing
• Experience using AI tools like Cursor or ChatGPT to boost productivity
