Job Responsibilities

Contract Specialist / Financial Clinical Operations Specialist (Germany – hybrid in München)

This role focuses on budget and contract-related activities. The main responsibilities are:

• Perform assigned activities within the SSU Project Delivery Team for projects during start-up and throughout the life cycle.
• Be responsible and accountable for customer-focused leadership and management of Site Start-Up (SSU) deliverables within Germany.
• Direct the technical and operational aspects of SSU deliverables for the assigned projects.
• Develop SSU timelines as required and report progress, including plans to address potential risks or gaps to the project team, Project Manager (PM), SSU Management and Project Sponsor.

This is a hybrid role, with two to three days per week presence in the Munich office, and monthly in-person meetings in the office.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Two years of experience in a similar position
• B.Sc. in Business Finance/Administration/Life Science or equivalent health care related experience
• Excellent understanding of the clinical trial process across Phases II–IV and ICH GCP
• Good understanding of clinical protocols and study specifications
• Experience in managing contracts and budgets
• Project management experience in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in German and English
• Quality-driven in all managed activities
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide quality feedback and guidance to peers
• Hybrid work possibility with an office in München
