Site Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description Your Role As a Site Engineer (f/m/d), you will provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing and corrective maintenance on a range of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment. You will manage routine plant inspections, act as a first-line response and ensure that all work is done in line with relevant regulations and our own processes and procedures. Conduct vendor management and act to maximize uptime/SLA (Service Level Agreement) and improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness). Within this function, you are acting with external and internal stakeholders such as Service Planning, Security, 3rd party suppliers and our customers. Your Profile Experienced in electrotechnical field, ideally authorized to manage electrical switch operationsMinimum 3-5 years practical experience in an electro technical or industrial / mechanical environmentFluent in German and EnglishFollowing technical skills are highly preferred:Operation and maintenance of large scale electrotechnical systemsOperation and maintenance of mechanical systemsMaintenance of fire detection and suppression systemsMaintenance of conveyor technique (elevators)Following soft skills are relevant for the role:Self-management, ability to manage multiple tasks, pro-activeStress resilience, ability to prioritizeAbility to evaluate risk and solve complex solutions A Bit About Us Digital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
