Job Description Your Role As a Site Engineer (f/m/d) working on one of our Data Center Sites based in Frankfurt-Hattersheim, you will provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing and corrective maintenance on a range of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment. You will be working in 3-shift system. What You’ll Do Provide engineering support for monitoring, planned servicing, and corrective maintenance of critical data center infrastructure and associated equipment Carry out routine plant inspections and serve as first-line response to technical issuesEnsure all maintenance and repair activities comply with relevant regulations as well as internal processes and proceduresManage and coordinate external vendors to ensure high-quality service deliveryAct to maximize uptime and SLA (Service Level Agreement) performanceContribute to improving Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and overall operational efficiencyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Service Planning, Security, third-party suppliers, and customers What You’ll Need Professional background in the electrotechnical field, ideally with authorization to perform electrical switch operations 3–5 years of hands-on experience in an electrotechnical, industrial environment Strong technical knowledge, preferably including:Operation and maintenance of large-scale electrotechnical systemsOperation and maintenance of mechanical systemsMaintenance of fire detection and suppression systemsMaintenance of elevator/conveyor systems Key Soft Skills To Succeed In The Role Strong self-management and ability to handle multiple tasks proactivelyStress resilience and effective prioritization skillsRisk evaluation and complex problem-solving capabilityStrong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills A Bit About Us Digital Realty brings companies and data together by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
