Senior Recruitment Consultant: Supply Chain & Procurement at Discover International

A rapidly growing Biopharma CDMO is seeking an experienced Site Head to lead end-to-end operations at two of its key manufacturing sites in Germany (One Munich, One Frankfurt). The facility specialises in GMP-compliant biologics manufacturing (upstream, downstream, and sterile fill‑finish) and is entering a phase of significant investment and expansion. This is a strategic senior leadership position with full responsibility for site performance, compliance, and future development.

Your Responsibilities

Provide overall site leadership across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, EHS, and Operational Excellence.
Ensure full GMP compliance across all operations, including EU GMP, FDA, ICH, and internal global quality standards.
Oversee biologics production activities , including USP, DSP, and aseptic filling/packaging.
Drive site strategy, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and develop the site's leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and quality.
Manage budget, resource planning, and site-level CAPEX projects.
Serve as the key point of contact for authorities, corporate teams, and client audits.
Support new product introductions, tech transfers, and scale‑up activities.
Strengthen the site’s reputation as a reliable, high‑performing CDMO partner.

Your Profile

Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a comparable field.
10+ years’ experience in biopharma, ideally within a GMP‑regulated CDMO environment.
Proven track record in senior site leadership , manufacturing management, or plant leadership.
Strong knowledge of GMP regulations , aseptic/sterile production, and biologics processing.
Experienced leading multi‑functional teams in a highly regulated environment.
Excellent communication skills and leadership presence.
Strategic mindset paired with operational hands‑on capability.
